Pinball Fantasies for the PSP “minis” available now!

Finally here and no less than as a launch title for the PSP “minis”, Pinball Fantasies is downloadable as of today from the Playstation Store. Get yours while they’re hot! I’ll link to it later when I get the official links.

Meanwhile, here’s a link to the press release with screenshots and all - https://cowboyrodeo.net/pinballdreaming/presskits/psp_fantasies/

Everyone in the US wondering, Fantasies will hit the US store as soon as we get the ESRB rating, it’s taking longer than we expected. Sorry!

This was a pleasant surprise; bought it straight away. I’d buy Pinball Dreams, Pinball Illusions and Slamtilt (not from the same company, I realise) for the PSP too, if you do them.

Will this eventually be made available on the US Playstation Store? I almost bought an iPhone just to be able to play a portable version of this game :)

He adquirido de la playstation store (spain) el “mini” de Pinball. Me gustaría saber si habrá opción de más “tables” de juego.

Very happy to see one of the best pinball on my PSP ! Thx ! Is it possible to have a 5 balls mode ? (I can’t enter the cheat code “EXTRA BALLS” with my PSP ^^).
Dreams’ll follow ! Great ! Will you port Illusions on iPhone/PSP too ? And SlamTilt ?
    Thx again !

Unfortunately no 5 ball cheats will be available, as we’re having the online highscores on the iPhone version so.. no can do :) No definite plans about Illusions yet! Slamtilt, unfortunately no

A shame about Slamtilt, but I hope you decide to do Illusions - there seems to be some enthusiasm for it here. I’m enjoying Fantasies immensely - the portrait mode is great! It’s a slight shame that the banner text gets chopped a bit, as the whole width of the table doesn’t fit the PSP screen at once. I don’t know if that’s something you can/would do anything about…?

Yeah the banner text is a bit of a shame but the only real option would be to brute force shrink it to the resolution, probably resulting to something really ugly as then random pixels in the screen here and there wouldn’t show.. It’s a loose-loose :)

These were originally from Amiga versions, right? I figure that is why the flipside of the floppy disk graphic has ‘Magia’ in the old Amiga font…I know there might have been these games or another emu…But are these new releases to tribute the Amiga?

when will Dreams be released? any plans for other emu-based Minis?

These are straight from the Amiga, converted line-by-line from the original assembler source - so these are not actually “emu”-games, rather real ports.

Dreams will be released in about.. 3 weeks :)

great to play this game, it would have been good if had 5 balls instead of 3 and the high scores should have been zero.

Congrats, I bought both Fantasies and Dreams for psp, excellent conversions and I love that you can play them sideways!

Having said that, I have a bug report for Speed Devils: I crashed when overtaking after getting to the goal… which was a shame as it took me weeks of tries to get there! Can you have a look at that? Plus, after reaching “turbo mode”, the music changed, but it remained changed also after leaving it; I’m not sure but I had a feeling that it was a bug as well.

Great nostalgia, and the music is still brilliant for all the games well done.
Just one thing about both dreams and fantasies. One of them you see the high score on normal portrait mode on the back of the floppy. The other for some strange reason only appears when the screen is put onto the side. Why is this, and can I view it normally without turning my head sideways to the screen. If it works ok for the one, why not the other. Please help me cause I really do love these games.

Do you have any plans with mergeing those pinballs into one?

Hi I play the game on my psp go and I really love it :)
But I have the same bug as UncleZeiv for Speed Devils ; also when I win the Billion Dollar Game Show, the game will freeze after I loose the ball …
    No Illusions coming ?

    Hi everybody o/

Same here I killed the highscores for all the tables in PF but for speed devils at the end of the game the game stops and freeze
    No fix for that?

PS : Great game I really enjoyed playing as I played on my 486 DX2 66 when I was young. Tanx a lot !!! :-)
